Suppose I’ll start out with a slight introduction.
Hi. I’m Jaclyn. Friends (that’s you) call me Jackie.
I am a photographer.
Much more than that, I am a wife, a mother, a friend, a student, and a teacher. (The last one given in loose context.)

Wife of a Sergeant in the US Army’s infantry.

Mother of one completely awesome five year old.

Friend of many wonderful people. (Unfortunately, whom I rarely get to see.)

Student in work and in life.

Teacher to anyone that is open and willing, that I can possibly help.

I have been married for eight years. Six of those eight, I have been an Army wife. I was Navy brat growing up. I know military life. My husband has been deployed to both Afghanistan and Iraq. I am very proud of the men and women that serve our country. Salute and gratitude to all of you.

One delight in which I indulge in is spending time with my daughter. Everyone tells you in your youth how fast life will fly by. You never really understand until you love a child yourself, as an adult. Whether it be your own, a niece, a nephew, a godchild or friend’s. The years can pass us without much change. But, when you watch a child grow, there is no measure. Love them, educate them, and let them dream.

I solemnly declare that I will do my best at keeping up my end of this bargain. Any words of encouragement, concern, compliment, criticism, hoopla, or hype will increase the likelihood of this sworn statement. So, please be sure to leave your mark on a very regular basis. Thank you.
